What’s in it for you?
As the Hardware Tech Lead, you will guide and mentor the hardware team, providing strong technical leadership and setting the technical direction. You’ll occasionally take responsibility for driving concept or innovation initiatives and act as a key technical anchor across multiple deliverables.
This role upholds best practices in design, testing, and documentation, while driving close collaboration with firmware and mechanical teams. You will also play an active role in agile development processes to support efficient and integrated project delivery.
You will operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple parallel projects and tight deadlines, where your ability to maintain an overview and technical focus is essential.
A part of your role will be to help mature our processes and practices within structured testing, quality, documentation, and hardware design, driving a culture of excellence through methodologies such as design practices. derating, DFMEA, and structured validation.
You’ll work closely with firmware and mechanical teams and contribute actively to improving our agile ways of working. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll lead by example and guide the team toward continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities
· Design and develop advanced hardware systems including analog/digital circuits, RF, and power electronics.
· Conduct schematic design, PCB layout, and design documentation.
· Integrate high-speed microcontrollers, battery management systems, and sensors.
· Execute DFMEA, component lifetime analysis, and ensure quality assurance.
· Drive hardware validation, including prototype, environmental, and compliance testing.
· Actively contributes to sprint planning, reviews, and agile workflows.
· Promote continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices, tools, and automation.

You will lead by example, taking ownership of complex designs while supporting the team’s technical growth.
You will report to the Engineering Manager, Hardware, and contribute to the cross-functional development projects as a part of the hardware team, working in an agile setup.
Competencies on our radar
We imagine that you have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. You are technically strong, structured, and passionate about hardware design. Furthermore, you bring the following to the table:
· Broad expertise in hardwaredesign – analog/digital, RF, and power electronics.
· Strong understanding of mechanical and firmware interfaces.
· Experience with validation, DFMEA, EMC, and safety testing.
· Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
· Solid communication and collaboration skills.
· A mindset for continuous learning and improvement.
It will be a plus if you have experience from a company with high-volume production.
