Detect and report vibration to improve security or get insights into patients’ health

Thanks to the evolving IoT industry, smart sensors and alarms can offer more and more valuable insights for home care and smart security solutions. Different sensitivity levels enable use in care and security

The Vibration Sensor enables solution providers to choose from 15 pre-defined sensitivity levels allowing you to match the sensor’s sensitivity with the intended use cases. By opting for a high sensitivity level and mounting the Vibration Sensor on a bed frame, it can for example give insights into a person’s sleep patterns and help recognize potential illnesses.

Less sensitive vibration detection can, for instance, be used to give alarm in case an intruder breaks through a window or glass cabinet. Similarly, the Vibration Sensor can be attached to valuable fixed belongings such as cashboxes, jewelry boxes, or televisions to ensure their safety at all times.

The Vibration Sensor is a particularly beneficial device for home care solution providers as it enables caretakers and families to monitor the senior’s activity without threatening their feeling of independence. Furthermore, the data from the sensor can be used to uncover behavioral patterns that might be indicative of undetected health conditions.

Long-lasting, inobtrusive and easy to deploy

With its long battery life and low-power notification feature, the Vibration Sensor requires little maintenance. It is mounted with a double-stick tape, instead of screws, which broadens the surfaces and objects it can be attached to.
