Meet Bjørn Sæterøy from Onics' sales team
Based in our Norwegian office in Lillestrøm, Bjørn is the point of contact for many of our customers and partners in the Nordics.
Bjørn has a broad background in international business from Europe, the US, and Asia, as well as strong business know-how from telecom, media, consulting, and industrial production.
With an education in technology and business (MS Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne), Bjørn has extensive operational experience working in roles within HR, finance, and development and delivery project management.
Privately, Bjørn leads an active life that includes biking, hiking, and skiing in the Norwegian mountains, as well as reading and learning new languages. He enjoys spending time in his family retreat in the mountains close to the Olympic town of Lillehammer.

- Early disruptor: Bjørn hacked one of the first bottle return machines in 1972.
- Young and trendy: He worked as a fashion model for one day while he still had hair in his twenties.
- Committed language learner: He is currently on a 1321-day streak learning Spanish on Duolingo. In addition to his mother-tongue Norwegian, he is fluent in English and German.
