Based in the Netherlands, Laurens is dedicated to bringing our advanced risk-prevention solution to insurers in the Benelux. He helps reduce risk, prevent claims, and strengthen customer engagement through IoT-enabled prevention technology.

With more than 20 years of global experience in SaaS, IoT, and digital innovation, Laurens has helped organizations across the globe and beyond translate complex technology into real-world value. The combination of commercial strategy, innovation leadership, and ecosystem collaboration is where Laurens really thrives.

Outside of work, Laurens can almost always be found on his mountain bike. Whether he is riding solo, exploring new trails with his kids, or coaching youth riders, he recharges by being outdoors and discovering new places. Laurens also has a passion for good coffee, great people, and a solid jam session.

• Even his mountain bike is full of sensors: Laurens enjoys making stunts, jumps, and cycling through the mud on his mountain bike, which automatically adjusts its suspension and electronical shifting gears while he rides.
• Musician by heart: You can find Laurens behind the keyboard in rock tribute bands (Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Muse, Heart). Sometimes he still plays at festivals.
• Love for wheels: Laurens used to drive semi-professional go-karts and cars and therefore has a racing license.
