Meet the Audio Assistant: Get in contact with people in need
Many healthcare systems in Western societies are challenged by a growing number of people with special care needs. IoT technology can help provide safer and more efficient care.
Care solutions can include, for instance, sensors to track a resident's activity in their home or panic buttons to call for help in case of emergencies.
With the Audio Assistant from Onics, care solution providers can provide effective care and properly recognize and validate emergencies.
Alarm validation via Alarm Receiving Centers
The Audio Assistant is a two-way-audio device that enables residents to get in contact with people outside their home, for instance an alarm receiving center (ARC). In case an alarm is triggered in the home, the ARC can call the home to validate if an emergency occurred and how urgently help is needed.
This way, the residents can quickly get the help they need and in case of false alarms, care personnel is not alerted unnecessarily.
Integrated with Skyresponse
Via a Squid.link gateway, the Audio Assistant can easily be connected to Alarm Receiving Centers via SCAIP or NOW-IP and is fully integrated with Skyresponse.
The product is already in use with multiple Alarm Receiving Centers and can easily be integrated into any ARC.
Connect multiple Audio Assistants to one gateway
The Audio Assistant is a separate 2-way calling device, and it is possible to install up to 6 units with one Squid.link gateway.
This way, you can install Audio Assistants in different rooms of the house and ensure, that residents can always call for help when they need it - no matter where in the house an accident happens.
Customized design and features available
The Audio Assistant is available in different design options. The standard design includes a large panic button and two additional multi-purpose buttons. Alternatively, the Audio Assistant can have a custom design, for instance with an additional button or a small panic button.
Please note: Custom features are subject to a development fee (NRE fee) and a MOQ of 10,000 devices.
