Audio Assistant
Get in contact with people in need
The Audio Assistant allows a person in need to get in contact with people outside their home, for instance, an Alarm Receiving Center (ARC).
When an alarm is triggered in a person’s home, for example through pressing a panic button or the absence of activity detected by a sensor, an alarm can be sent to an alarm central.
Validate emergencies in care and security solutions
With the help of the Audio Assistant, the alarm center can validate how urgently help is needed through voice connection. This way, care personnel are not alerted unnecessarily or an ambulance can be sent urgently if the patient needs help.
In security solutions, the Audio Assistant can be used to “listen” to what is going on in the building and to inform intruders that security services or police have been alerted. The assistant can also be used to make announcements such as: “Fire in the building, please leave.”
Additionally, the Audio Assistant can record 10 seconds of voice before an alarm event occurred, providing crucial evidence for incident investigation.
Noise-triggered alarms
The Audio Assistant can be configured to trigger an alarm if noise above a certain level is detected. This can be used, for instance, to surveil disabled people while sleeping.
When they get up at night and stumble or fall out of bed, a nurse is alerted. If a call is triggered, but no further noise is detected, the call can be cancelled.
Alternative design options
The Audio Assistant is available in multiple configuration options.
The standard design has a built-in panic button and three additional multi-purpose buttons. Another version with 2 multi-purpose buttons and custom icons is available for white-labeling (MOQ 3,000)
You can also remove the big panic button or choose your own configuration based on the design examples. These features are subject to a development fee (NRE fee) and a MOQ of 10,000 devices.
