- Versuchen oder melden Sie niemals jegliche Form von Dienstverweigerung, z. B. Überwältigung eines Dienstes mit einer hohen Anzahl von Anfragen
- Unterbrechen Sie nicht die Dienste oder Systeme der Organisation
5. Pilot Devices and Installation
5.1 Where physical sensors or devices are provided to you as part of the Pilot, these remain the property of Onics or Pilot Partner (as specified in your Evaluation/Pilot Agreement). You must:
- Install and use devices only as instructed in the guides provided.
- Keep devices in a safe and functional condition.
- Not move, tamper with, or attempt to repair devices without authorisation.
- Return devices promptly at the end of the Pilot Period in the condition received, subject to reasonable wear.
5.2 You may be liable for damage to devices caused by misuse or negligence. We will inform you of any replacement costs before seeking recovery.
5.3 The Gateway requires connection to your home's Wi-Fi and/or Ethernet network, you confirm you are authorised to connect devices to that network. The App requires a stable internet connection to function.

IoT systems for care can provide safer and more efficient elder care and help limit overall healthcare costs.
When employing our white label IoT devices in a care solution, all information is sent from the individual devices, through a gateway, such as a Squid.link gateway, to your or a third-party cloud platform. Through the care solution, caretakers can be notified instantly in case of an emergency.
6. Your Personal Data
6.1 Your privacy matters to us. The App collects data as part of its operation including sensor readings, alert history, and account information. Full details of what is collected, why, and your rights are set out in our Privacy Statement, which forms part of your Evaluation/Pilot Agreement and is also available in the Onics app.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 The App, including all software, algorithms, designs, content, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Onics AS. Nothing in these Terms gives you any ownership of or rights in the App beyond the limited right to use it during the Evaluation/Pilot Period for the purposes described.
8. Limits on Our Liability to You
8.1 To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither The Pilot Partner nor Onics will be liable to you for:
- Any indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of earnings or damage to property) arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
- Loss or damage arising from a failure by the App to detect or alert you to a fire, flood, or intrusion event.
- Loss of data stored on your device or within the App.
9. Duration and Ending Your Participation
9.1 Your participation in the Pilot runs for the period specified in your Evaluation/Pilot Agreement.
9.2 We may end your access to the App early if:
- You breach these Terms or your Evaluation/Pilot Agreement.
- The Program is discontinued.
- Continued access poses a security or legal risk.
- You withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data required for the App to function.
9.3 You may withdraw from the Pilot at any time by giving written notice to the contacts listed in the Evaluation/Pilot agreement. Withdrawal will not affect any obligations or rights that arose before you withdrew.
9.4 When the Evaluation/Pilot Period ends (for any reason): your App access will be deactivated; any devices provided to you must be returned unless otherwise agreed in the Evaluation/Pilot agreement; and your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Statement.
10. Changes to These Terms
10.1 We may update these Terms during the Pilot Period to reflect changes in the Program, the App, or applicable law. We will give you at least fourteen (14) days' notice of any material change before it takes effect.
10.2 If you do not agree to an updated version of the Terms, you should stop using the App and notify us. Continued use after the effective date of any change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Onics and Pilot Partner's jurisdiction. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your participation in the Pilot may be brought before the courts of Norway in case of Evaluation kit testing or the Pilot Partner's jurisdiction in case of a Pilot.
11.2 If you are based in an EU Member State, you also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of habitual residence, in accordance with EU consumer protection rules (Brussels I Recast Regulation).
11.3 For End Users in the UK, disputes may alternatively be referred to the courts of England and Wales.
11.4 EU-based participants may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
11.5 We encourage you to contact us in the first instance with any concern or complaint - most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
